Have the power of three working for you! The triquetra is an old pagan symbol. Its name is derived from the Latin tri- ("three") and quetrus ("cornered"). In modern paganism it is used to symbolise the triple goddess – maiden, mother and crone. It can also symbolise three aspects of a person – mind, body and soul. I was taught it symbolises the three realms – this world, the underworld and the other world.
